Notes:                       Team 1 will serve on the first Sunday in the month, Team 2 on the second, etc.  If the first day of the month is a Sunday, Team 1 will serve even though the Saturday duties will be done in the prior month.  Each team will be scheduled for an additional Sunday during the year.

                       Team 3 is responsible, once a month, for checking on the condition of our priest’s portable Communion Kit, even if it has not been used.

   

                       Team 3 serves the fifth Sunday in August, team 4 the fifth Sunday in November, and team 1 the fifth Sunday in January.

 

                       The 5th Sunday team will do extra cleaning of the Sacristy and Altar areas.  Instructions for this cleaning are in the Altar Guild manual and posted in the cabinet.

 

                       If you are unable to serve your week, please switch with someone and notify the Team Captain, Jane Lorenz, and the church office.

 

                       Team Captains are assigned on a rotating basis. They are responsible for checking that all duties are done on Saturday, scheduling the members for services on Sunday and Wednesday, and filling out the Service Form and posting it on the bulletin board. When there are additional services during the week, the Altar Guild chair will work with the Team Captain to schedule help it if is needed. 

 

                       For special celebration seasons such as Christmas and Easter, all Altar Guild members will be asked to assist the team assigned for that week.

 

This schedule is subject to changes as I’m sure we will be adding people in. Thank you all for your help and dedication.
