Music is a very important part of our life at St. James' Episcopal Church. Our music program provides music for all the services throughout the year, and our goal is to provide music which will reach and fulfill the needs of our diverse congregation. Our ministry is to enrich the spiritual life of the Body of Christ at St. James'. We offer varied music programs for all ages and interests, and provide the music to enrich all services of the church. We welcome any and all who would come and join us in worshiping the Lord with music. Our choirs and their rehearsal times are:

• Choir for K-2nd graders -- rehearses Sundays, 11:00-11:30; Mike Brown, director
• St. James' Singers -- high school through adults -- rehearses Thursdays 7:00 - 9:30pm and sings at the 10:30 service weekly; Newton Lewis, director
• Handbell Choir -- all ages -- rehearses after the 10:30 service on Sundays; Newton Lewis, director

We also have a Praise Band and Choir, which includes many members of the other choirs. The Praise Choir sings for the Sunday 5:30 PM service with contemporary music. Rehearsals are at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. They also perform occasionally at the Sunday morning family service.
