We are the youth group of St. James' Episcopal Church in Potomac, Maryland.
Members of our group do not have to be members of St. James' church!
We also participate in special activities to get closer in our relationships with each other and with God. These include beach trips, retreats, ski trips, concerts, prayer rallies, Christmas in April/Rebuilding Together, and a week in the summer at a Group Workcamp. Throughout the year we do various service projects to raise funds to support these activities. If you have a job that you need someone to help you with (like yardwork, painting, moving, . . . ), call Mr. Mullins and let us see if we can help you!
We invite you to join us in the church parish hall for fun and fellowship. We are there every Sunday during the school year (with some exceptions -- see our calendar). Everyone in grade 6 and up is welcome. Our youth group meeting starts at 6:00 pm. We begin with a pizza dinner (bring 3 dollars!). The meeting is over at 8:00 pm. Our program activities include games, discussions on life's tough questions and how God helps us, service projects and more fellowship.
